About the event
As part of Oakland Style Week, Pomella is hosting the creation of a community-wide mural under the artistic direction of Bay Area Mural Project (BAMP). The 7 ft x 6 ft mural's theme is Oakland Style – a celebration of art, fashion, music, cuisine and culture found only in The Town. The canvas will be located in Pomella's parking lot.
BAMP will provide art supplies and canvas and Pomella will provide the outdoor art space, but the Oakland community is needed to create the mural! No experience necessary. Come and spend as much time as you like contributing to the mural. Nourish yourself at Pomella and bring your inner artist to the canvas for a one-of-a-kind creative experience.
